PCU - Progressive Care Unit

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• 36-hour guarantee per week (48-hour guarantee is not available for this need)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must be willing to float to Kingsbury as needed
• Coordinate total nursing care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Participate in patient and family teaching
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
• Cardiac drip experience required - must be noted on profile
• Dementia experience and management required
• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience required
• NIHSS certification strongly preferred
• Required certifications: NIH Stroke Certification, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Professional scrubs required (no logos) - traveler provided
• Personal vehicle required as this is a small community without public transportation
• Block scheduling will not be accommodated or considered for this need
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at upload - RTO requests after upload or during interview will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
• Must be available to work at least two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
