Operating Room RN Job in York, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 90-day travel assignment in the Operating Room at Central – UPMC Memorial in York, Pennsylvania. You will work 3 shifts per week at 12 hours each, with flexible start times of 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM. Days and evenings schedule with no regular weekend commitments; on-call duties are required.

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a circulating nurse, preparing surgical suites and verifying equipment functionality and patient information prior to procedures
• Assist the surgical team, monitor patient safety throughout operations, manage comprehensive documentation, and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth procedures and optimal patient outcomes
• Learn and develop competency in scrubbing sterile procedures; prior experience in both circulating and scrubbing is preferred
• Maintain expertise across multiple surgical specialties including vascular, general, gynecology, orthopedics, podiatry, robotics, ENT, urology, and plastics

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 90 days beginning October 12, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,170
• On-call requirement: 1 weekday call per week (end of shift to 7:00 AM) and 4 weekend calls during the 13-week assignment period (7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday)
• Hospital-provided scrubs; employee parking available in Lot C at rear of facility

Requirements:

• Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Pennsylvania clearances: PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
