Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Schedule may vary each day based on case start times
• Full-time position
• Function as a Circulating OR Nurse across multiple surgical specialties
• Must have experience circulating in ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, GYN, and Plastic Surgery
• Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care situations
• Provide routine and complex nursing care with the ability to focus on long-range goals and plans
• Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol and monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only)
• Active RN license in Texas or compact license required
