ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7 depending on shift and day
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Possible float to Kiawah FSED and Summerville FSED as needed
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 1 year of general emergency experience required (adult and pediatrics)
• CVA and Epic experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: NRP, TNCC
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN license required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Skills required include management of dysrhythmias, central line care, IV vasopressor management, BiPAP/CPAP management, triage, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, and emergency medication administration
• Block scheduling available with manager approval based on unit needs
