Emergency Department RN Job in Bartonsville, PA

Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono Creek is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel contract running through mid-December 2026, with a start date of September 21, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3x12 shifts (Days): rotating between 9:00 AM–9:00 PM and 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, scheduled in advance
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call duties
• Weekly pay: $2,384.64

Role Details

• Patient ratio: 1:6 across days, nights, and weekends
• Floating required between multiple facility locations
• Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Epic charting system (experience required)
• Navy Blue scrubs

Core Clinical Responsibilities

• Triage and patient assessment
• IV placement and management
• 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation
• Phlebotomy and arterial line management
• Chest tube management
• Procedural sedation
• Dysrhythmia management
• ABG interpretation
• Care of ventilated patients
• Psychiatric and behavioral health management
• Respiratory care and blood testing (nurse-performed)

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 3+ years of emergency nursing experience
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers welcome
