CT Technologist Job in Harrisburg, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Central – UPMC Community Osteopathic in Harrisburg, PA. You will work nights on a 5x8 schedule, earning $3,441 weekly.

In this role, you will independently perform computed tomography procedures using established scan protocols. Your responsibilities include:

• Execute CT imaging procedures with proper acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Administer contrast media—including PO, rectal, and IV contrast—per physician orders and department policy
• Demonstrate proper venipuncture technique and appropriate use of power injectors according to protocol
• Assess patients for risk factors prior to contrast administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and follow universal protocol for all procedures
• Review patient history and physician orders to apply departmental protocols for optimal image acquisition
• Document patient information in the electronic health record as required
• Ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, and charges are entered

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 compliance
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
