NICU RN Job in El Paso, TX

You will work as an RN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Del Sol Medical Center El Paso for a 13-week contract assignment beginning August 10, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• On-call duties required

Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity. You will work with specialized equipment including giraffe warmers, giraffe incubators, open cribs, vapotherms, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, bili lights, bili blankets, syringe pumps, IV pumps, infant scales, glucometers, and thermometers.

Procedures you may perform include lumbar punctures, PICC line placement, UAC/UVC placement, exchange transfusions, chest tube insertion, and intubation. The unit uses Meditech for its electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• STABLE certification
• Scrubs in Galaxy Blue

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay is $1,839.60. This is a 91-day assignment.
