About this role

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Banner Desert Medical Center, located at 1400 S Dobson Rd in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 12-week travel assignment beginning November 2, 2026, with a 3x12 day schedule and weekly pay of $2,434.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
  • Review patient history and physical findings with patients and families, ensuring timely completion of documentation
  • Review diagnostic and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and care team members
  • Develop and initiate individualized plans of care based on patient assessment, medical needs, and clinical data
  • Deliver direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and supervise healthcare team members as assigned
  • Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, adjusting the plan as needed
  • Document all assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities in the patient record in a timely manner
  • Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives to improve nursing quality indicators and patient outcomes
  • Supervise staff and departmental workflow as required

Required Qualifications

  • Current, valid RN license in Arizona
  • Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
  • Experience in the Emergency Department within the past 12 months
  • BLS certification
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Professional nursing certification
