Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position on a Neuro Med Surg unit
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week with 36 guaranteed hours
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• 2 weekend shifts required every other weekend; night shift weekends can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on existing rotation
• No on-call required
• May float to other units within service line excluding ICU, SDU, and ED
• Block scheduling is not available
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including orthopedic, neurology, med/surg, and stroke conditions
• Required skills include CVA management, isolation precautions/PPE, PCA, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry unit monitoring, telemetry remote monitoring, and total joint replacement
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy
• No parking cost
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Fire Safety
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
