Med Surg RN Job in Wausau, WI

You are invited to apply for a Medical-Surgical RN position at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work in the Post Surgical Unit, providing direct patient care and monitoring during the recovery phase following surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include vital sign monitoring, wound assessment, pain management, patient education, and coordination with the surgical and nursing teams to ensure smooth transitions of care.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,358
• Facility Type: Hospital

Requirements

• Active RN license (Wisconsin or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg or post-surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
