RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required 1 day every week and one weekend every month
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Daily census of 8–12 patients with 8 operating rooms
• May be required to float between Downtown, Northeast, and Kershaw campuses based on census and staffing needs
• 2+ years of OR experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking with pass distributed at pickup
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patients served include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and interpretation services
• Special equipment includes MAZOR, MAKO, and MEDACTA TABLE
• Block scheduling available with manager approval based on unit needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
• Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures preferred, including robotic surgeries, orthopedic and spine procedures, general surgery, neurological, urologic, gynecologic, otolaryngologic, colorectal, and cardiothoracic cases
