Cath Lab Technologist Job in San Francisco, CA

You will support cardiologists and radiologists in the Interventional Cath Lab at Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus, providing technical expertise and patient care across all age groups during advanced cardiac and vascular procedures.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with interventional cath lab procedures under cardiologist supervision
• Perform technical analysis and monitoring during diagnostic and interventional cases
• Assess patients and communicate effectively with families and clinical team members
• Support procedures including left and right heart catheterization, PCI, TAVR, ASD closures, and cardiac stent placement
• Operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) equipment
• Assist with ECMO, IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, temporary pacemaker insertion, and rotablator atherectomy
• Support vascular closure systems and Watchman procedures
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding patient privacy and safety
• May mentor and train students in cath lab procedures and protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential
• 2 years of Interventional Cath Lab experience (structural heart experience preferred)
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certification
• ARRT or RCIS certification (RCES, CRT, or RCIS accepted)

Schedule & Compensation:

• 4 x 10-hour day shifts, start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Rotating nights and weekend call required
• 91-day assignment starting November 3, 2026
• Weekly pay: $3,481.92
