Med Surg RN Job in Memphis, Missouri

Scotland County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. This is a 13-week night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 schedule with every third weekend required.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Care for observation, acute, and skilled/swing bed patients across Med Surg
• Work with patient populations including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Patient ratios on nights range from 1:3 to 1:5
• May float to different units as needed

Requirements:

• Current Missouri or compact nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Med Surg basic skills required; telemetry skills preferred
• Step-down level experience preferred

• Weekly pay: $2,316
• 12 hours of orientation
• EMR training on Meditech
• One pre-approved time off request during contract
• Block scheduling with preference scheduling accommodated when possible
• Interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy
• Any scrub color accepted
