Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 day shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred
• Telemetry competency required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Free parking on site
• Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Common patient diagnoses include Diabetes, HTN, CAD, Seizure, CVA, TIA, and CRD
• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care and management, PICC line management, heparin protocols, wound care and wound vac, tracheostomy care and management, and pre/post cardiac cath care among others
