Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a patient ratio of 1:5.

Assignment Details

• 91-day contract starting November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,969.92
• Every other weekend required
• Rarely on-call; if called, duration is 4 hours maximum
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedule available with manager approval based on unit needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Clinical Skills Required

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Central line care and management
• Blood product administration
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• PICC line management
• Peripheral line care and management
• Wound care and wound vac management
• High-flow nasal cannula
• Phlebotomy
• Isolation precautions and PPE compliance

You will care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Scrub color is royal blue.
