Med Surg RN Job in Lander, Wyoming

You will provide direct, individualized nursing care to medical-surgical patients at SH SageWest Health Care in Lander, Wyoming. This is a 91-day travel assignment working 3×12 night shifts, with a weekly pay of $2,205.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to pre- and post-surgery patients and a wide variety of medical patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepare, administer, and record medications via oral, subcutaneous, and IV routes
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report in accordance with RN policy
• Record vital signs and medical information accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and respond to changes in patient status
• Educate patients on surgical procedures and post-treatment home care needs
• Teach patients and family members how to manage illness or injury
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs, and perform other bedside interventions
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments
• Respond to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocol
• Participate in discharge planning

Required credentials and licenses:

• Current Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification (American Heart Association)

This assignment begins on September 21, 2026. You will join a supportive healthcare team in a community setting where your clinical skills and patient care experience directly impact patient outcomes.
