Med Surg RN Job in Chattanooga, TN

You will work as an RN on a 26-bed Orthopedic/Spine unit at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, starting August 3, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule
• Floating policy includes rotation

Clinical Role

You will care for orthopedic and spine patients on Unit 5 East with a patient ratio of 6:1. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, post-operative monitoring, and wound care. You will work with patients recovering from knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries.

Equipment and Documentation

• Work with equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Document patient care using the Meditech system

Unit Support

The unit includes support staff such as unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to assist with patient care and unit operations.

Requirements

• Strong orthopedic background required
• Current RN license
• Demonstrate compassion and teamwork
• Navy scrubs required per dress code

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,918.44.
