ICU RN Job in Glendale, AZ

You'll work as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, located at 5555 W Thunderbird Rd in Glendale, AZ. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning December 7, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week. You'll earn $2,416 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for ICU patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural dimensions
• Develop individualized care plans using assessment data and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records according to facility policy
• Provide supervision and direction to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities

You'll work a varied schedule that includes weekend and holiday rotations, with possible call requirements and floating to support other units as needed.

Required qualifications:

• Current valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience with specialty area experience within the past 12 months

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
