Respiratory Therapist Job in Allentown, PA

You'll work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a 13-week contract at LVH - Cedar Crest. This is a night shift position (3x12) with an every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday schedule. There is no on-call requirement.

What You'll Do

You will provide respiratory care across multiple patient populations, including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Your role includes support for adult critical care and emergency department settings, with collaboration from respiratory services and rapid response teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; first-time travelers are accepted
• Adult critical care and emergency department experience required
• Pennsylvania state license
• Current RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Hands-on proficiency with specialized equipment: Hamilton G5, PB 980, Respironics V60, Optiflow, Lumis TX, Cough Assist, Vest, and IPV
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred

You will wear dark grey scrubs and work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. This assignment offers predictable scheduling with no unexpected call-ins, allowing you to plan your time off during the 13-week period.

Compensation

You will earn $2,328 per week. Your contract runs 91 days, starting October 19, 2026.
