ICU RN Job in Queen Creek, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit at Banner Ironwood Medical Center, located at 37000 N Gantzel Rd in Queen Creek, AZ. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026, working 3x12 hour night shifts at $2,434 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Conduct thorough patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely documentation in patient records
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, with acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
• Clinical performance competencies appropriate to ICU practice
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and frequently stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch
• Exposure to blood and bodily fluids; standard precautions required

You may be required to float to a sister site depending on census and staffing needs. Bachelor's degree and professional certification are preferred.
