Operating Room RN Job in Chambersburg, PA

WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, offering a weekly rate of $2,491.

Position Overview

You will work 5x8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM in a 10-room OR suite. You will care for patients across all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Floating as needed is required, and you will be on-call with a 30-minute response time.

Schedule & Time Off

• Weekends and holidays required as needed
• Holiday commitment: you will work 1 of 2 major holidays if your contract covers only 2 holidays; otherwise, 1 of 3 (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting system experience required

Facility Details

This tobacco and fragrance-free facility provides interdisciplinary support including phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary services. A manager interview is required prior to placement.
