Med Surg RN Job in Utica, NY

You will work as a Registered Nurse on our Medical/Surgical unit at MVHS Inc. in Utica, New York. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 3x12 day shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,309.75
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed

Your Role

You will care for adult patients with a range of post-surgical and acute medical conditions. Common diagnoses include post-surgical recovery, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery cases. Floating to other units is required. You will use specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes.

Requirements

• Current active New York RN license
• 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• EMR experience with EPIC
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Navy blue scrubs required
