ED Registered Nurse Job in Barstow, CA

Barstow Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a travel position with a contract duration of 84 days, starting November 2, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Weekly Pay: $2,628
• Facility: Barstow Community Hospital, Barstow, CA

Your Responsibilities

• Provide shift accountability for Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Requirements

• Current California RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• No local candidates will be considered
