Physical Therapist Job in Santa Fe, NM

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. You will work day shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Assignment Details:

• Facility: CHRISTUS STV Admin Services Building, 2968 Rodeo Park Drive
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,508

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine physical and cognitive abilities of inpatients and outpatients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families
• Provide assessment, treatment plan development and implementation, follow-up, and discharge planning
• Document initial patient evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other appropriate notations
• Participate in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental meetings
• Counsel patients, families, and other involved individuals regarding patient evaluation, care, and treatment
• Initiate and complete discharge planning in a timely manner and provide effective education and training
• Assist with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs
• Support orientation of new associates and scheduling of patients to ensure quality patient coverage
• Maintain awareness of community agencies for appropriate referrals and networking
• Support Performance Improvement activities and maintain departmental productivity standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited college or university
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
• BLS certification from AHA
• Proficiency with all modalities and equipment used by a Physical Therapist
