RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed Neurosciences unit on the 6th floor of the main campus
• Patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 on day shift with 7:1 stretch on night shift
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 HUC
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 HUC
• Work every other weekend
• Float to other med surge floors as needed
• Perform Foley insertions and IV starts
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Operate standard med surge equipment
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Required certifications: ACLS and NIH stroke scale
• Neuro experience preferred
• Outgoing and self-motivated personality preferred
• New staff reference book provided at start of contract
