About this role

SRHS (Spartanburg)—Pelham Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 20, 2026, with 3x12-hour night shifts. You will earn $1,995.84 per week.

About the Role

You will care for adult and geriatric patients (18 years and older) with medical and surgical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and remote telemetry surveillance. Your responsibilities include cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central line care, heparin protocols, wound care and wound vac management, PICC line management, PCA administration, and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration). You will also care for patients requiring peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis.

Shift and Scheduling

You will work 12-hour night shifts with variable scheduling including weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratios are 1:5. You may float to 3rd or 4th floor Med/Surg Tele units as needed. One of the following is required: 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks or 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks. Guaranteed hours are based on your signed contract. All requested time off must be included in your initial submission; requests made after contract start will not be considered. Missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation.

Requirements and Skills

You must hold current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications. You will be required to pass a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Medication Test on your first day of orientation (one attempt allowed). Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience is preferred; 1+ year will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Community hospital experience and familiarity with Epic charting are preferred. Experience with the Mindray cardiac monitoring system is beneficial. You must be able to pass a fit test onsite, which may require shaving.

Orientation and Support

You will complete 36 orientation hours. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
