ICU RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will work as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, providing direct bedside care to critically ill patients who require intensive medical intervention and continuous monitoring.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor vital signs and patient status continuously, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and monitor specialized ICU equipment and technology
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families during critical illness

Schedule and Duration:

You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week on an every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday schedule. July 3rd and 4th coverage is required. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $2,342.34. ADEX Healthcare Staffing handles all travel logistics and licensing requirements for your assignment.
