Emergency Room RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-day assignment beginning October 26, 2026. You will earn $2,434 per week.

In this role, you will:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and medical direction
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives and contribute to improvement of nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors as appropriate

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in acute care within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the ED specialty
• Current BLS, TNCC, and NIH certifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
