Med-Surg RN Job in Albany, NY

Albany Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a travel position in the Med-Surg Float Pool. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic, large academic medical center setting while maintaining flexibility across multiple patient care areas.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 Days
• Weekly Pay: $2,365.20
• Assignment Length: 91 days
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Location: Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY

Requirements:

• Valid RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience at a 600+ bed academic hospital
• Passing competency test score (required within 24 hours of submission if you have less than 2 years of experience)
• 2 years of relevant experience eliminates testing requirement
• Epic EMR experience
• Navy blue scrubs required

Role Responsibilities:

As a Med-Surg Float Pool RN, you will provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients. Your assignment may include floating to other units as operational needs dictate, allowing you to expand your clinical skills across different patient populations and care settings within the facility.
