ED Registered Nurse Job in Leonardtown, MD

MedStar Saint Marys Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 5, 2026, offering $1,960 weekly.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, every other weekend required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule on Friday and Saturday nights)
• Patient ratio: 1:4–6
• Setting: Combined adult and pediatric emergency department serving all ages, from neonates through geriatrics

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• At least 1 prior travel assignment completed
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)

Essential Skills

• Triage, IV placement, phlebotomy, and 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation
• Dysrhythmia recognition and blood product administration
• Procedural sedation monitoring and management of ventilated patients
• Competency with neurological emergencies, trauma, psychiatric holds, respiratory illness, and pediatric emergencies

Interdisciplinary Support

You will work alongside physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and additional clinical teams to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
