ED RN Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for its Adult Emergency Department in Rochester, NY. This is a 17-week travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work in a high-volume emergency department managing over 100,000 patient visits annually. Your role includes direct patient care, assisting with boarder patients, and supporting the diverse acuity levels that flow through a level 3 trauma center.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Day, evening, and night rotating schedule
• Weekend, holiday, on-call, and callback shifts required per unit needs

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,368.08.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience
• Previous travel ER experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• NIHSS certification
