Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shift schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• May float to other units and facilities including Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other like units as needed based on census
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Med Surg unit with 22 beds and patient ratios up to 1:6
• Must be able to read telemetry and have experience with cardiac drips and identifying heart rhythms
• Willingness to work in a charge role is a plus; additional charge training will be provided on the unit
• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience required; must be short-term acute care hospital experience
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• Recent Epic charting experience within the past 12 months required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, and Wisconsin RN license
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
