ED RN Job in Newton, IA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department at MercyOne Newton Medical Center in Newton, Iowa. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Sunday through Tuesday (3 days per week)
• Duration: 90 days
• Weekly pay: $2,314
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• TNCC certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• Holiday availability as needed

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, collaborating with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver urgent and emergent care. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment support, medication administration, wound care, monitoring, documentation, and patient education.
