ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Primary shift hours are 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM with the ability to move to 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Every other weekend required
• May float to sister campuses as needed based on staffing and census
• Provide emergency nursing care to a wide range of patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience required; 1 year of experience in ED as a traveler preferred
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, NIH Certification
• California RN licensure required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be proficient in skills including triage, IV placement and management, arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care, continuous IV sedation, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, and sepsis protocol
• Must be able to use Kronos for clocking in and out
