PICU Registered Nurse Job in Charlottesville, VA

Opportunity:

RN - Critical Care Peds Float Pool

Job Details:

• Night shift position
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
• Float pool position rotating to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Peds Med/Surg, Peds PACU, Peds ED, and Postpartum/Mother Baby
• May be required to float to Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby during staffing needs
• Minimum of 2 years PICU experience required
• Must have PACU, PICU, and NICU experience and be comfortable with pediatric patients of all ages
• Pediatric PACU experience highly preferred
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BSN preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Must adhere to float pool policy
• Up to 40 hours of pre-approved time off per 13-week contract; no time off approved during first 2 weeks of assignment
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS
• Dr. Browns Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may submit with certification pending)
• Virginia nursing license required (pending license accepted)
• Nursys verification required with submission
• References required
