Telemetry RN Job in Overland Park, Kansas

Join a 26-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit as a Telemetry RN at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, on a day shift schedule working 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., three 12-hour shifts per week.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Manage cardiac patients in the post-procedure phase
• Perform titration of IV medications including cardiac, heparin, and insulin drips
• Operate pacemaker equipment
• Complete documentation in the Meditech system
• Float to Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Outpatient Surgery units as needed

Unit Environment

The unit operates with a strong team structure including Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, and Unit Secretary support. Self-scheduling is available, and there are no on-call requirements. Day shift assignments require three weekend shifts in a four-week period.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Telemetry experience required
• Experience managing cardiac patients post-procedure preferred

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay is $2,233.80. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week on a flexible schedule.
