About this role
Join Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA as a Med Surg RN on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three days per week at $2,175 weekly pay. Start date: August 10, 2026.
About the Role
You'll staff a 36-bed Med Surg/Tele unit located on the 3rd floor of the South Tower. Your patient ratio will be 6 to 1. Night shift staffing includes one charge nurse, six nurses (RN/LPN mix), and three techs. You must be prepared to float to all Med Surg/Tele floors as needed.
Unit Details
The unit uses the following equipment and systems:
- Meditech EMR
- EKG machine
- DynaMaps
- Bladder scanner
- Vein finder
- Telemetry monitoring
Typical procedures performed on the unit include heart catheterizations.
Requirements and Expectations
- Med Surg/Tele nursing experience required
- Meditech EMR experience required
- ACLS certification required prior to submission
- Every other weekend or two full weekends per month required
- Must be located 50+ miles from the facility
- Ceil Blue scrubs required
