Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week guarantees available
• Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1
• Candidates must be willing to float
• Provides routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in a Med Surg setting
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed
• EMR used: Epic
• Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs
• BLS certification via AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
