ED RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 6-month contract position offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to work in a high-acuity care environment.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Credential Required: RN (Registered Nurse)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Schedule: 3 days per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Contract Duration: 181 days
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay: $2,342.34

About the Role:

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, assessing and stabilizing patients across a range of acuity levels. Your responsibilities will include patient monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely emergency services. You will work autonomously while contributing to a supportive clinical environment.
