Oncology RN Job in San Antonio, TX

You will work as an RN on a 12-bed Oncology unit at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan in San Antonio. This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of July 27, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, on the night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Rotational weekend schedule required
• Weekly pay: $1,576.80

Your Role

You will care for patients on the 7th floor with patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 during night shift. You will work alongside 2–3 RNs and 1 PCT per shift. Your responsibilities include performing medical, surgical, and chemotherapy procedures, managing patient care, and utilizing the Meditech EMR system for documentation and clinical workflows.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Oncology and medical-surgical nursing skills
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
• Ability to float to comparable units as needed
