Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment working night shifts
• Schedule requires 3 12-hour shifts per week with potential for extra shifts and overtime
• Patient load of approximately 20-30 patient procedures per respiratory care practitioner per 12-hour shift
• Wear Caribbean blue scrubs
• Work across all areas of the facility but not in a charge duty capacity
• Minimum 2 years of full-time critical care adult hospital experience required with NICU experience required
• Required skills include ventilator management, emergency airway care, CPAP/BiPAP, high flow therapy, aerosolized medication administration, arterial punctures, A-lines, and 12-lead EKG
• Advanced skills preferred include HFOV, NICU patient care, and trauma experience
• Equipment used includes Servo I, Servo U, 980 vents, Radiometer ABL90 ABG analyzers, V60 and Hamilton C1 BiPAP, and Resmed Aircurve 10 home CPAP
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Required certifications: State of Virginia license, RRT (CRT accepted), ACLS, NRP, and PALS
