Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities of 5 to 8 calls per month, including weekends. Holiday call may be required.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required
• First-time travelers accepted only with 5 or more years of experience
• Must be able to circulate general OR cases; scrub experience is not required
• South Carolina or multi-state RN license must be active and in hand at start of contract
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Radiation badge required; provided by agency

Preferred Experience:

• Circulating general OR cases including Plastics, Colorectal, Urology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Pancreatic/Biliary, and Surgical Oncology
• The facility operates 5 robotic systems

Facility Details:

• 10 operating rooms with approximately 28 visits per day
• Adult patient population
• Patient ratio: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary

Weekly pay: $1,892.16. Assignment duration: 91 days. Start date: July 27, 2026.
