Job Details:

• Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspirations
• Implement communication treatment plans including techniques to help patients be better understood and to better understand others
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility
• Ensure all services are provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards, and established facility policies and procedures
• Proactively build and manage caseload using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities while meeting facility productivity expectations
• Remain onsite and available to work to fulfill guaranteed hours when patient volume allows
• Make reasonable efforts to reschedule or complete remaining treatment when clinically appropriate if a treatment session is missed or shortened
• Communicate any barriers to completing treatment to facility leadership
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend requirements
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
• Texas license or compact license required
