ICU Float Pool RN Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as an RN in the ICU Float Pool at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a contract position covering multiple ICU units, giving you variety in your day-to-day responsibilities and exposure to different patient populations within intensive care.

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each per week, nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: July 27, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,102.40

As a float pool RN, you'll provide direct patient care across ICU units as census and acuity require. You'll assess patient conditions, administer medications, monitor vital signs, manage equipment, and communicate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Your clinical judgment and adaptability will be essential as you transition between different unit environments.

This backfill position exists to support staffing continuity during a contractor transition. You'll be an integral part of the intensive care team, contributing to patient safety and quality outcomes during critical hours.

You must hold a valid RN license in North Carolina. Travel accommodations are not included; you are responsible for arranging your own housing for the duration of the assignment.
