ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 9-bed Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) unit
• Day shift hours: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Night shift hours: 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Must work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period with every other weekend off
• Required to wear royal blue scrubs
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience at a medium to high volume ER required
• CEN certification preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, CPR, TNCC
• Perform procedures including EKG, peripheral IV placement, ventilator management, and BiPAP
• Operate POC lab equipment including Piccolo, EPOC, and Triage Meter
• Work with equipment including Lifepak 15, C1 ventilator, Lucas device, and POC lab equipment
• Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Must be flexible and able to work with all types of personalities
• May float to other FSED locations and Main ED
