Med Surg RN Job in Ogallala, NE

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a Med Surg position at Ogallala Community Hospital in Ogallala, Nebraska. This is a travel assignment with a start date of November 2, 2026, lasting 89 days.

Assignment Details:

• Shift: 3x12 Days
• Weekly Pay: $2,253
• Facility: Ogallala Community Hospital, 2601 N Spruce St

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes
• Review diagnostic and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to the education and orientation of facility personnel, patients, and families
• Provide direction and supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• BLS certification
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg specialty area
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
