PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift schedule Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Call requirements of 2-4 shifts per 4-week schedule
• Weekends are call only, included within call requirements
• Patient ratios of 2:1 or 1:1
• 16-bed PACU unit located on the 1st floor
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, arterial lines, BiPAPs, chest tubes, bladder scan, and Doppler for pulse checks
• EMR system: Meditech (experience preferred)
• Perform and assist with procedures including nerve blocks, lumbar punctures, and chest tube placement
• Phase 1 PACU experience required
• Critical care experience preferred
• Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Must be a team-oriented individual with strong multi-tasking skills
