Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• Client may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract period
• Patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7
• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
• Will be required to float within skillset (between units 5400 and 5500 and within med-surg skillset)
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• EPIC charting experience required (hard requirement)
• Active New York single state RN license required (NY is not Compact, pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Must submit RTO requests upon submission; no more than 10 days of RTO
• Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Required clinical skills include:
  - Cardiac monitoring and emergency response (dysrhythmia interpretation and management, Rapid Response/Code team activation)
  - IV therapy and phlebotomy (peripheral line care and management)
  - Blood product administration and heparin protocols
  - Nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
  - Isolation precautions and PPE
