OR RN Job in Georgetown, TX

Join Georgetown Hospital (St. Davids) in Georgetown, TX as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on a 4x10 schedule, earning $2,190 weekly.

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a 4-bed OR suite, supporting a diverse range of surgical procedures including orthopedic, general surgery, robotic, urology, breast oncology, podiatry, and ENT cases. You'll maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and work alongside an OR Manager, Charge Nurse, Certified Surgical Technicians, fellow RNs, schedulers, and support staff to ensure smooth surgical operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage operating rooms and surgical equipment
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
• Monitor patient safety and surgical site integrity
• Document procedures using the Meditech EMR system
• Respond to call requirements, including weekday call rotations (after-shift) and weekend 24-hour call shifts for weekend cases only

Requirements

• Active RN license (Texas)
• ACLS certification required
• Scrub color required: Ceil Blue

Assignment Details

Start date: September 21, 2026. This is a fixed 91-day contract with a structured day shift schedule. Call is built into the assignment with a rotation of weekdays (after shift conclusion) and weekend days (24-hour call shift).
