ED Registered Nurse Job in Prince Frederick, MD

CalvertHealth Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Prince Frederick, Maryland. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department, working 3x12 night shifts at $2,173 weekly. Shifts begin at 3:00 PM with every other weekend required. You will manage patient ratios of 1:4 and care for patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage and emergency assessment
• Monitor and manage acute care patients
• Utilize Meditech charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
• Implement ICP monitoring protocols

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
